How do I develop a passion for association football ( soccer)?

Playing it and watching it.

And how to get into soccer shape.|||that's a hard question...

i guess really it just comes as you learn to see it as a beautiful sport. you just start to like it the more you play and watch you, or you don't. i think the biggest thing for starters is to have fun when you play, and the rest will come.

to get into shape, a good suggestion is to start running everyday, and do some sprint training as well as start working on your technical skills such as passing, trapping, tackling, shooting, and dribbling|||Go for a specific team. Here in the US I go for La Galaxy. That way you get exited when your team scores. Watch European soccer, like leagues like La Liga, or Italian Serie A. They have really good teams. Playing it, buy a soccer ball, and practice with friends that know soccer. When you think you are good enough and know the most common techniques, get in a recreational team. To get into soccer shape, run A LOT!!! I run 10 miles a day now. Start with 1 mile a day, and try to make it in 6 minutes. To learn the rules buy a FIFA video game, Thats how I really learned the rules well, and it helps with complicated rules like offsides and stuff. When you play the video game don't skip anything, the vids and stuff.|||you will develop a passion for the game the more you play it, but it's not really something you can develop over night! Watching it will help you understand the game more and teach you things as well. To get in soccer shape you need to run about 4 miles every day, i wouldn't start out running that much, work up to 4 miles, but that should be your goal. Do sprints, push ups, and sit ups too. good luck!
