II MEMBERSHIP


Article 3 鈥?Types of Membership


The NCRFA shall have five (5) types of members: regular, probationary, associate, allied and honorary:


REGULAR MEMBERS are those organizations that have been accepted as such after having met the requirements and qualifications prescribed hereunder . They have the right to representation and the right vote in all General Assemblies provided. Only an absolute majority of the voting membership of the NCRFA Board of Governors may approve regular membership upon recommendation of the NCRFA Membership Committee. No applicant may become a regular member unless it has gone through a probationary membership of at least one (1) year.


PROBATIONARY MEMBERS are organization whose application for membership have been accepted by the NCRFA present upon recommendation of the NCRFA Membership Committee, but have not fully met requirements and qualifications for regular membership. They may be represented in the NCRFA Board of Governors while on probationary status but have no right to vote.


ASSOCIATE MEMBERS are teams or clubs not affiliated with any organization, leagues or regular member or probationary member association but would like to participate in the activities undertaken by the NCRFA.


ALLIED MEMBERS are corporation, institutions, organizations or individuals who contribute time effort and financial assistance to the advancement of the causes for which the NCRFA exists. Acceptance of application for allied membership shall be at the discretion of the President, upon recommendation of NCRFA Membership Committee.


HONORAY MEMBERS are persons who have contributed in an extraordinary way to the promotion of football in the territorial boundaries of the NCRFA may be invited by unanimous vote of the Board of Governors to join the association.


Article 4 鈥?Restrictions to Membership


Regular and Probationary Members of the NCRFA can be organizations or associations representing groups of football playing institutions, teams, club or school based in the NCR.


Associate Members of the NCRFA can be individual institutions, teams, clubs or schools based in the NCR.


Allied Members of the NCRFA can be an organization, company or individual based in the NCR.


Honorary Members of the NCRFA can be individuals based in the NCR.


Article 5 鈥?Admission and Qualifications for Membership


After having formally gone through the procedures required for membership, an organization that has been accepted as a probationary member may be accepted as a regular member if that association has, within the probationary period complied with the following: a. participate in at least one NCRFA organized competition; b.organize regular competitions for its member teams; c.pay the corresponding registrations for its member teams; d.participate in the implementation of NCRFA initiated development programs; e.send qualified representatives to development courses (coaches, referees, administrators, sports medicine officials, etc.) organized by the NCRFA; f.send qualified representatives to attend NCRFA Board meeting and Assemblies.


An organization that has been accepted as a regular member of the NCRFA, in order to remain in good standing must have, in a single year complied with the following: a.participate in at least one NCRFA organized competition; b. organize and implement a year round program of football related activities (competitions, seminars, courses and clinics)for its members; c. pay the corresponding annual registration fee and annual membership dues; d.participate and contribute in the implementation of NCRFA initiated development program; e.send qualified representation to development courses (coaches, referees, administrators, sports medicine officials, etc.) organized by the NCRFA. f.Send qualified representatives to attend NCRFA Board meetings and assemblies.


Member shall be considered in good standing if: a.they have fulfilled all obligations such as membership requirements; b.they have settled all dues, fees and penalties; c.they are not under suspension.
