had a right good look through google and I found pretty much nothing apart from Port Glasgow Athletic being refered to as Port Glasgow Victoria in one link but their history only goes to 1909/1910 season.
Exact writing on medal might help if thats not what uve given otherwise ur on to plums im afraid.|||I take it that was the year the Blackburn Juniors players were going over the top in Passchendaele winning VC after VC and my great uncle Jimmy was left in the trench with 5 bullets a bayonet and 3 bottles of whiskey ? he shot 5 germans during the attack drank a bottle of whiskey , bayonetted 189 Germans then drank another bottle of Whiskey, the bayonet snapped turned the gun around drunk the last bottle and bludgeoned another 60 Germans with the but of his weapon. The moral to the story ? dont fukc with my great uncle jimmy with a drink in him.|||Ceramic players could not compete in today's game.(too fragile)
Should be worth a few bob to a numismatist (eh?)
As for Port Victoria, there is no such team and l doubt if there ever has been. Maybe Blantyre Victoria,Port Talbot etc|||a tenner oan ebay, but ul need tae cough up fur P%26amp;P|||Awe gie tw@t the 10.|||ooof that old! how many shillings?
